PARTICIPATION

In our organization, we are protagonists of the decisions that affect us. We feel part of all areas, from strategy to execution, contributing ideas and efforts to achieve our common objectives. We understand that every action we take and every word we say has a significant impact on collective success.


A STORY OF HOW WE LIVE PARTICIPATION

Many years ago, before we had the management structure organized in circles (based on sociocracy) that we have today, we were holding one of our monthly Plenary Sessions (meeting of all the people in Grupo Esfera). In a final section called Open Space, more than 15 people from Esfera met to talk about a topic that worried us: our salaries, how competitive they were in relation to those of other organizations, how we perceived them internally, and how we could improve in those aspects.



From that meeting (in person, at that time, I remember us all standing in a circle in the office dining room) we kept conversations about those topics alive. Based on several meetings that we held, in which the number of people naturally decreased, we finally converged on a group of 5 people and we decided to propose to the Board of Directors the creation of a new management team: the Salary Experience Team.



This would be the starting point for the management circle structure that we have today and since then it has been a space for innovation and continuous improvement in something that interests us very much. For those of us who make it up, it is a motivating and challenging workspace. It emerged from necessity, we would say from the bottom up, and it also represents our capacity to institutionalize those improvement initiatives that originated from our willingness to participate and build.
